"Sex Education" has finally got a premiere date for the third season on Netflix. "Sex Education" Season 3 will premiere on September 17 on Netflix, worldwide. Netflix has also revealed the first look images for the upcoming season.

Season 3 is likely to pick up where it left in the second season, Jean was suffering from heart pains and headed to the hospital for a check-up. It seemed like she was suffering from heartbreak after her separation from Jakob. But after some tests, it was unveiled that Jean was pregnant with his child. However, Jean did not tell Jakob (the child's father) about her pregnancy in the finale.

The logline for the third season of Sex Education is, “It’s a new year, Otis is having casual sex, Eric and Adam are official, and Jean has a baby on the way. Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope (Jemima Kirke) tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee discovers feminism, Jackson gets a crush and a lost voicemail still looms. Prepare for commitment animals, alien phenomena, vulva cupcakes, and much more of Madam Groff.”

In the new images, we can see Otis Milburn, Eric Effiong, and Maeve Wiley in a different school dress than the previous season.

Earlier this year, in an interview with the Guardian Asa Butterfield, told, "There’s a bit of a time-jump since the season two cliffhanger. Otis is back at school but he’s got different things on his plate. He’s grown up a bit and become slightly sassier. It’s been fun to portray his newfound charisma. Don’t worry, though, he’s still tragically awkward too."

Season 3 will also see some new faces in Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter series), Jemima Kirke (Girls), and Dua Saleh. Season 3 is directed by Runyararo Mapfumo and Ben Taylor. Executive Producers also include Laurie Nunn, Ben Taylor, and Jamie Campbell. Season 3 of Sex Education wrapped up filming in March 2021.

Season 3 returning stars include Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Aimee-Lou Wood, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Chaneil Kular, Patricia Allison, Sami Outalball, Anne-Marie Duff,  Alistair Petrie, Simone Ashley, Mimi Keene, Tanya Reynolds, Mikael Persbrandt, Samantha Spiro, Rakhee Thakrar, and Jim Howick.
