Part 2 is finally out, and with that, our beloved series is heading towards the end after its decade-long journey. So, as we all know, Noah grabs our attention in part 1, so naturally, part 2 continues where it left off. We all remember how Noah rubbed the blood coming out of his nose on the part and how he rubbed it off. In this part, we dive deeper into Upside Down. This makes us very close to witnessing the end of Vecna in the darker dimension. When it comes to Vecna, things are pretty clear: he wishes for the upside-down and the world to fuse permanently so that he can have final control over everything. But that dream cannot be achieved so easily with Eleven and her being there to save the day. However, as we saw in Part 1, Eleven continues to remain weakened, and much of Part 2 focuses on her and her healing to jump back to action. On the other hand, Mike, Will, and the rest of the group also aim to protect her. Will also become a center of attention as she serves as the only point of communication between the world. This also means he is always on the brink of danger, even though he is always much in demand.

Steve, Dustin, Nancy, and Robin put on their investigation caps to find out loopholes between both worlds. At this point, any and every information is really important. Hopper and Joyce have the responsibility of protecting the civilians from the evil forces prevalent in their town.

So all in all, this was indeed a power-packed finale with so much hanging just by a thread. Vecna continues to remain powerful, and we don’t know what is about to happen. That is what creates the magic in part 2.

Having said all that, the show is not without its weaknesses. For example, there is a lot happening in part 2 with every character. As a result, it becomes tricky to understand and keep track of what all the characters are up to.  This leads to the issue that there is a lot to cover in very little time. And now the makers are rushing towards closing the chapters.

Even the pacing is erratic. There are cases where everything just slows down for no reason. A faster pace could have helped us to keep our interest in the show while trying to understand what was really happening around.

Also, the character development seems to be missing this time, unlike the first part. Everything becomes pretty monotonous with no new offering on the character development front. That becomes a major issue given how crucial the final part is for the show. Even the editing lacks this time when he compares it to part 1  and all the other previous seasons as well. Additionally, there is too much to see, which keeps our brains occupied, and we aren’t able to process it all at once. But even with all these issues, we must watch part 2 to see what ends come finally to Vecna and the kids who are trying their level best to save the town.

Final Score- [6/10]
