Netflix has revealed a new extended trailer for “Ozark” Season 4. The first part of the fourth season of the hit crime drama will release on January 21, 2022.

The fourth season, which is also the final season, is arriving in two parts of seven episodes each. Earlier, we revealed that Ozark has completed filming Season 4, and its first part will release in January.

The teaser trailer (watch above) begins with Marty (Jason Bateman) saying, "Money is, at its essence, that measure of a man's choices." "Why do I have this feeling, we both know that you'd be better off dead? Sometimes, if you don't move forward, you die," says Wendy (Laura Linney). "Broken promises got consequences," replies Marty. The trailer ends with Marty saying, "Today is a beginning."

Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Charlie Tahan, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, and Lisa Emery are returning for the final season. The cast of the fourth season also includes Ali Stroker, Veronica Falcón, and Bruce Davison.

In the Season 3 finale, Maya tells Marty that Trevor handed Helen a copy of Marty's confession to Maya. Wendy, Marty, and Helen are expected by Navarro to attend his son's second baptism in Mexico. Nelson executes Helen upon arrival, and Navarro informs Marty and Wendy that this marks the beginning of increased cooperation between the three of them.

Ozark is a contemporary drama created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams that follows the Byrde family's journey from their regular, suburban Chicago life to their dangerous criminal venture in Ozarks, Missouri. The show examines capitalism, family dynamics, and survival through the viewpoint of those who are not typical Americans.

Season 4 sees the return of Chris Mundy as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. Executive producers also include Bateman, Mark Williams, John Shiban, Patrick Markey, and Bill Dubuque. Laura Linney serves as co-executive producer.
