Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed a new trailer for “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” this Thursday. The film which is a sequel to the 2019 movie, will release in theaters internationally beginning March 15, 2023, and in North America on March 17, 2023.

From New Line Cinema, “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.

The trailer begins with Helen Mirren's Hespera threatening Shazam, "We are at war. We will annihilate everything. The champions of this realm can do nothing to stop us." Zachary Levi's Shazam is trying to explain the situation to other Super Heros, "All right, here's the situation. The Daughters of Atlas are coming to hunt us." The trailer also pokes fun at Game of Thrones when Shazam calls out Lucy Liu's character, who is riding on a Dragon, Khaleesi! For those who are not aware, Emilia Clarke's character Daenerys Targaryen in the Game of Thrones series was also referred to as Khaleesi. The trailer shows a lot of action-packed scenes with Shazam fighting Dragon rider and the superhero family fighting evil while riding horses that look like unicorns.
