Hulu has renewed its two new adult animated series ‘Solar Opposites’ for third and ‘Crossing Swords’ for its second season. Solar Opposites, which debuted back in May, was initially ordered for two seasons out of the gate, which means that this renewal will add a third season to its tally. Meanwhile, Crossing Swords just premiered this past week and thanks to its success, it has got its second installment.

Created by Robot Chicken's John Harvatine IV and Tom Root, Crossing Swords stars Nicholas Hoult as Patrick, a good hearted peasant who lands a coveted squire position at the royal castle. However, his dream job quickly turns into a nightmare when he learns his beloved kingdom is run by a hornet’s nest of horny monarchs, crooks and charlatans. Even worse, Patrick’s valor made him the black sheep in his family, and now his criminal siblings have returned to make his life hell. The second season of Crossing Swords will consist of 10 episodes when it arrives, just like Season one.

Solar Opposites is story of a family of aliens who move to middle America, where they debate whether life is better there or on their home planet. It was a big hit on Hulu when it arrived, delivering the biggest numbers for any comedy premiere in Hulu's history. Even though Hulu already has Season 2 in place, it still went ahead to add another to the tally. Solar Opposites comes from Rick and Morty's Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan.
