Amazon has given the greenlit and confirmed action-packed series “The Boys” for a fourth season as per insider VoughtHQ. Reportedly, Season 4 will go into production in Spring next year and that might be before the premiere of season 3.

“The Boys” Season 3 is currently in production and will complete filming in September. “The Boys” Season 4 is likely to start pre-production work in March 2022 and start the production by June or July 2022 in the same location of Toronto.

The news of renewal is not surprising given the success and popularity of the show; nevertheless, it is only a rumor until Amazon formally announces it. We can expect to get the official confirmation before the premiere of Season 3, as the plan is to shoot the fourth season just after the post-prod of the third season.

VoughtHQ has reported and revealed many insider news in the past from the set of “The Boys” and so far they have been accurate and very reliable with “The Boys” related contents. It will be very shocking if this turned out to be false. Season 3 is expected to do better than its previous season because of the hype surrounding its newest supe, "Soldier Boy," played by Jensen Ackles.

Jensen Ackles is riding the hype of season 3 similarly Aya Cash rode for season 2, in which she was the new face playing Stormfront. However, Ackles is way ahead of Cash due to his popularity from his previous show, Supernatural. Ackles is going to play Soldier Boy, who is a parody of Captain America and in the comics, he also fought in World War II and got killed by Germans due to his stupidity.

“The Boys” is a humorous take at what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as powerful as politicians, and as revered as gods, abuse their superpowers rather than using them for good. As “The Boys” go on a heroic quest to uncover the truth about the supergroup known as "The Seven," it's powerless against the super powerful. The show preserves the bulk of the comic's boundary-pushing violence and sexuality while also delving into the dark side of superhero stardom and fame.

Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television Studios have co-produced “The Boys,” together with Point Grey Pictures, Kripke Enterprises, and Original Film.
