Netflix has released the first official full trailer (watch above) for its upcoming horror series “The Haunting of Bly Manor.” The series will be premiering on October 9th at Netflix.
The trailer looks much terrifying with more footage of Jamie (Amelia Eve) around the house.
The Haunting of Bly Manor is the follow-up to 2018's The Haunting of Hill House. This new chapter in the Haunting anthology series revolves around Bly Manor and the lives of its inhabitants, both living and dead. The first season will have 9 episodes.
Based on Henry James’ gothic horror novella The Turn of the Screw, which is set at an old country mansion, The Haunting of Bly Manor marks an all-new chapter in TV franchise creator Mike Flanagan’s anthology series.
However, that's not the only ghost tale the series will tell: expect elements from The Jolly Corner, about a menacing doppelgänger, and The Romance of Certain Old Clothes, about two sisters and a mysterious chest of beloved dresses are also set to feature.
Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, and Catherine Parker — who respectively played The Haunting of Hill House‘s Nell, Hugh, Luke, Theo, and Poppy — are all confirmed to return for Bly Manor, while the new faces include iZombie‘s, Rahul Kohli.
