Netflix has revealed the trailer and premiere date for the South African series ‘Justice Served.’ The thriller drama will release on July 29 on Netflix, worldwide.

In the 6-episode series, an enigmatic freedom fighter and his supporters with a secret agenda hijack a courthouse to allow the public to vote on whether the murder accused should be hanged, setting the world on fire and causing turmoil in the lives of the citizens.

In the trailer, South Africans are asked to decide the destiny of Allan Harve (Morné Visser), a white man accused of murdering a young black guy. The public gets a few hours to vote on whether he should be executed or exonerated.

Delivering an electrifying performance, Hlomla Dandala plays liberation warrior and military veteran Azania Maqoma, who sees himself as an arbiter of justice while pushing covert agendas to settle scores with old enemies. The cast includes renowned actors Pallance Dladla, Lerato Mvelase, Anton Jeftha, Motshabi Tyelele, Jack Devnarain, Tiisetso Thoka, Morné Visser, Bokang Phelane, Alex McGregor, Dineo Rasedile, Panch Gasela, and  Siya Xaba.

Jozua Malherbe, Zwelethu Radebe, and Rolie Nikiwe have directed the series which is executive produced by Tshepo ’Ty' Skosana, Stan Joseph, and Robbie Thorpe.
