Netflix has revealed a trailer and premiere date for the Icelandic series, ‘Entrapped,’ which is the third season of Trapped. The sequel series ‘Entrapped’ will release on September 8 on Netflix, worldwide.
Entrapped is like the previous two seasons of Trapped - a character-driven crime drama set in Iceland's stunning landscapes, with origins in the Nordic Noir genre.
Entrapped follows up two years after the ending of the second season, with the police duo Andri (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) and Hinrika (Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir) lured into a war in the isolated highlands, where two rival factions fight over specific areas of land, but for very different reasons. The Extended Family, a neopagan and peaceful group led by its founder and spiritual leader Oddur (Egill Ólafsson), has set their camp on the land because they regard it as sacred and want to be close to their heathen Gods. An angry young man, Gunnar (Haraldur Stefánsson), leads a bunch of Icelandic bikers who claim the "sacred location." To claim ownership of the area, he summons reinforcements, and soon a gang of Danish bikers arrives by boat, commanded by the Danish leader, Hopper (Thomas Bo Larsen). The fight between the two parties results in the death of a young man named Ivar (Auðunn Lúthersson). Andri discovers that Ivar is not unknown to him, thus he feels obligated to join Hinrika in the North to investigate the murder.
The series stars Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir, and Danish actor Thomas Bo Larsen in the leading roles. Know about How It Ends 2.

RVK Studios created the series, which was co-produced by the Icelandic Broadcasting Service RV and the German ZDF.
