Uphaar Fire Tragedy Series - ‘Trial By Fire’ Trailer and Release Date on Netflix

Netflix has revealed the first trailer for the upcoming Hindi-language series, ‘Trial By Fire.’ Based on the Uphaar Fire Tragedy, ‘Trial By Fire’ will release on January 13, 2023, on Netflix, worldwide.

The series, which follows the story of Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy, shows the grueling legal battle and the immensely difficult journey that occurs when two parents lose their children.

59 people were killed, almost 100 were injured, and the battle lasted 25 years. The fire that destroyed the Uphaar Cinema in 1997 is still fresh in many people's thoughts. The trailer (watch above) for Netflix's new limited series Trial By Fire, which was released today, takes audiences on a hard-hitting yet riveting journey of parents who take on powerful forces for over two decades in their unending battle for justice.

Based on the best-seller, Trial by Fire: The Tragic Tale of the Uphaar Fire Tragedy written by Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy, the series is directed by Prashant Nair and written by Prashant and Kevin Luperchio. Produced by Endemol Shine India and House of Talkies, the series stars Rajshri Deshpande, Abhay Deol, Rajesh Tailang, Ratna Pathak, Ashish Vidyarthi, Anupam Kher, Shilpa Shukla, and Shardul Bharadwaj.
