Western Steampunk Series ‘That Dirty Black Bag’ Starring Dominic Cooper Wraps Up Filming [Exclusive]

Western adventure and horror-mystery series ‘That Dirty Black Bag’ has officially wrapped up filming today in Almería, Spain. Created by Mauro Aragoni who is co-scripting with Silvia Ebreul, Fabio Paladini, and Marcello Izzo, the series comes from BRON Studios and Italian indie Palomar.

The filming of ‘That Dirty Black Bag’ started in the last week of March 2021 and officially concluded on June 3, 2021. Shot in spectacular locations in Almeria this is an original 8 episode series (in English) of adventure and intrigue in the style of the Wild West.

The story is set in a savage, scorched, and deserted world where resources are scarce and it’s a daily struggle for survival. There, two men and two worlds will collide in an epic clash. The series is also set to have a  bit of horror and mystery.

‘That Dirty Black Bag’ has a star-studded big cast which includes Dominic Cooper (Need for Speed, Band of Brothers, Captain America: The First Avenger, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) as McCoy, Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending) as Red Bill, Christian Cooke (Love Rosie, Magic City) as Steve, Lorenzo McGovern Zaini as Dorian, Rose Williams (Medici, Reign) as Symone, Veronica Alvarado Kraemer as Lise, Caroline Tillette as Susan, Ruby Kammer as Wanda, Jacopo Rampini (Halston) as Jona, Victor Calero as Derek.

The cast also includes Tommaso Di Marco, Nicolo Pasetti, Eugene Brave Rock, Ivan Shaw, Benjamin Stender, Matt Patresi, Joseph C. Phillips, Gaia Scodellaro, Sofia Pauly, Simon Rizzoni, Simon Delaney, and Hoji Fortuna. The series is directed by Mauro Aragoni and Brian O'Malley.
