‘You’ Season 3 has officially wrapped filming today, this comes as a major relief to the fans who are eagerly waiting for an update on the upcoming season for the past few months.

Filming for the third season began on November 2, 2020, on December 31, 2020, the production of season 3 was suspended for few weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in February 2021 with all the COVID safety protocols.

The official Twitter account of YOU tweeted the news of Season 3 wrap with the caption "don’t worry we have eyes on joe at all times. happy S3 wrap."

Season 2 premiered back in December 2019, fans were hoping season 3 to arrive by March 2021, but that was not possible because filming was halted just a few days after it started in December 2020. YOU season 3 is now likely to arrive by October 2021, if everything goes as planned.

YOU Season 2 ended by binding Love and Joe together in a twisted dynamic — married, pregnant, and the picture of suburban bliss — that she sees as the perfect romance, while he views it as a prison, giving way to fascinating questions to approach in the next season.

Season 3 will feature the continuation of Joe Goldberg's fraught relationship with Love, who is pregnant with his child in a new suburban home, but few plot details have been released.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, "What would you do for love?" When a brilliant bookstore manager crosses paths with an aspiring writer, his answer becomes clear: anything. Using the internet and social media as his tools to gather the most intimate of details and get close to her, a charming and awkward crush quickly becomes an obsession as he quietly and strategically removes every obstacle – and person – in his way.

Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti are the showrunners with Penn Badgley as Joe and Victoria Pedretti as Love returning for season 3. New cast members include Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Dylan Arnold, and Tati Gabrielle. Michaela McManus will portray Joe's new neighbor, shown at end of the second season.
