The second season of the Swedish coming of age series, Young Royals has officially begun filming this week (Feb 21) in Sweden. The official social media accounts of Netflix Nordic confirmed the start of the production via a BTS video of the cast (watch above).

The cast of the series was standing in from of the Hillerska Boarding School, the fictional boarding school that serves as the main setting of Young Royals. All the actors were excited and psyched for the series. The cast also confirmed that there are new faces in the second season, which will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

The cast also teased the relationship of Simon and Wilhelm calling it a special bond. The first season ended with the aftermath surrounding the leaked video of Wilhelm and Simon by August. Wilhelm feels conflicted about accepting his relationship with Simon publically as Simon's life gets invaded by the press.
