The film follows, Enola Holmes who is born and bought up by her mother, goes on a quest to find her mother when one day she suddenly vanished from home alongside the famous Sherlock Holmes – his brother and Mycroft Holmes.
Enola, who is not like other ladies of that time, knows how to fight, play chess and solve puzzles instantly. The film is written with a lot of passion and it is a great watch for an entire 2 hours.
Yes, the film goes on for two hours, and I didn’t expect it to be that long, a few subplots can be simply taken off from the main story, and there wouldn’t be any difference, the film could be a bit shorter!
Starring amazing and talented actors like Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, and Helena Carter makes the movie brilliant. Each one of them is so good at playing their parts. Henry Cavill looks good as Sherlock Holmes although, my forever and personal favorite would be Benedict Cumberbatch from the series!
Millie gets a unique opportunity to show her acting skills, which she wouldn’t have in Stranger Things. I liked her in this role of Enola Holmes.
Overall it was an exciting watch, the story was not as intelligent as the Sherlock saga, but they do well weaving it!
If you are a big Sherlock Holmes fan, then you must check it out! The movie is fun, smart, and superb entertainment.
