The first Extraction film released at the start of the pandemic in 2020 is one of the biggest hits to date on Netflix. Now Chris Hemsworth is all set to return in the sequel coming out next month.
Netflix has revealed a new trailer today after revealing the release date for the film earlier this year. Extraction 2 will release on June 16 on Netflix, worldwide. As expected, the trailer includes a lot of action scenes - trains crashing, Helicopters flying and bullets firing almost every second, so certainly we can also expect more action-packed scenes than the first film.
In Extraction 2, Chris Hemsworth returns as fearless mercenary Tyler Rake, who is tasked with another deadly mission - rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they’re being held. Unlike the first one, this film is not set in the subcontinent.
Netflix has also revealed three new posters for Extraction 2.

Joe Russo has written the script for Extraction 2 along with director Sam Hargrave. As with the first film, we can expect a lot of action and fun in this one. Hargrave has also teased that they are planning to build an entire film universe based on the Extraction.
Extraction 2 was filmed in Prague, Czech Republic between November 2021 and April 2022.
