Netflix has revealed the first trailer for ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ Season 2. The second season of the action-fantasy series, ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ will release on September 16 on Netflix, worldwide.

In the trailer, we meet new characters such as Grey (Brandon Grace), Sebastian (Éanna Hardwicke), and Miranda Richardson as Rosalind, as the romance between Bloom (Cowen) and Sky (Danny Griffin) heats up.

Season 2, I feel like it’s just a whirlwind of emotion and adventure,” says Abigail Cowen, who plays Bloom. “We have new villains, we have new additions to the school, we have Flora — who is Terra’s cousin.” “You can expect epic fights and lots of steamy romance,” says Hannah van der Westhuysen. “In Season 1, the big question was, ‘Who am I?’ In Season 2, the big question is, ‘Who am I going to be when I grow up?’” adds Brian Young, the showrunner.

Brandon Grace as Grey, Éanna Hardwicke as Sebastian, and Paulina Chávez as Flora are the three new faces who are joining the existing cast of the fantasy series in the second season.

Abigail Cowen will reprise her role as the Fairy of the Dragon Flame, along with Hannah van der Westhuysen as the light-bending Solaria Guardian Fairy, Precious Mustapha as the Fairy of Waves, Eliot Salt as an earth fairy, and Elisha Applebaum as a mind fairy.

Netflix also released a behind-the-scenes video (watch below) of the cast at the beginning of the Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2 production script read-through.

Fate: The Winx Saga is a live-action remake of Iginio Straffi's Italian animation Winx Club. The show follows the coming-of-age journey of five unlikely friends as they attend Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld in which they must learn to harness their magical skills while navigating love, rivalry, and the creatures who threaten their very existence.

The first season cast includes Abigail Cowen, Danny Griffin, Elisha Applebaum, Freddie Thorp, Precious Mustapha, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Eliot Salt, Sadie Soverall, and Eve Best.
