Former Batman is set to arrive in MCU as a villain

It might not be a Marvel-DC crossover but we are surely excited after we heard the news that `The Dark Knight` star is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Christian Bale is set to join the cast of Thor's 4th installment in a villain's role.
In a short conversation with the Entertainment Tonight, Tessa Thompson revealed that Christian Bale is included in the cast of 'Thor: Love and Thunder' she also confirmed to ET that Christian Bale has been cast as the film's villain. Below is what she told to ET's reporter on the eve of Westworld season 3 premiere.

"Christian Bale is going to play our villain, which is going to be fantastic," she told ET's Leanne Aguilera at the season 3 premiere of Westworld. "I've read the script. I can't tell you much. Lots of exciting text messages exchanged between Natalie and I. We're going to have fun. Taika is writing [and] directing. Some familiar faces. Some new people coming into the mix."
"She's king," she clarified of her royal title. "If she can't find her queen, she'll just be king and queen at the same time."

Natalie Portman is already confirmed to return as Jane Foster in the Thor upcoming movie, however there is no clarity yet on the name of the villain that Christian Bale is casted for.Christian role is very popular for his role as Batman in Nolan's Dark Knight series and is often called as the Best `Batman` the DC universe has ever got.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Waititi on a script co-written by him and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great), which will be the follow up to Waititi’s wildly successful 2017 sequel Thor: Ragnarok. Jane will wield the mighty Mjolnir. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will also return as Thor and Valkyrie, respectively. The female Thor storyline is based on Jason Aaron’s run on “The Mighty Thor” in which a cancer-stricken Jane Foster takes up the mantle and powers of Thor.

Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to arrive in theaters on November 5, 2021.
