‘Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3’ Trailer Shows Adam Warlock in Action

Marvel Studios has revealed the first trailer for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ at CCXP 2022 in Brazil, this Thursday. President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, introduced Zoe Saldana, who plays Gamora in the franchise, before delighting enthusiastic fans with the trailer debut for the highly anticipated film, releasing in theaters on May 5, 2023.

The trailer gives us the first official, but brief look at Will Poulter's Adam Warlock in action. The trailer shows Guardians are back for a new adventure, however, things are not normal after the death of Gamora. The trailer teases the past of Rocket, confirming that we might get a backstory of this Marvel character. The trailer is full of action, but it doesn't tease who will be the threat the Guardians will be facing this time.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our favorite band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still mourning Gamora's death, must unite his crew around him to defend the universe and safeguard one of their own. A mission that, if not performed successfully, may spell the end of the Guardians as we know them.

James Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which sees the return of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Debicki, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, and Sean Gunn, with James Gunn returning as writer and director. Will Poulter is the new face, who is playing Adam Warlock. Chukwudi Iwuji and Reinaldo Faberlle have also joined the cast. Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

James Gunn has already confirmed that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ will be the final movie in the GOTG series, marking the end of this colorful but weird team of the Guardians. He has also teased that one of the Guardians will die in this film. He has not revealed who will be this character, but rumor says it could be Dave Bautista's Drax. 

Recently released Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+ focused on Drax and Mantis, who returned to Earth looking for Kevin Bacon as a special Christmas gift for a mourning Peter Quill.
