Hulu Releases First Trailer for ‘Marvel’s Helstrom’ at Comic-Con

Friday Comic-Con at Home gave us many surprises including the walking dead extra episodes and The Dragon Prince 4 new seasons. Hulu didn't stay behind as their panel dropped the first teaser (watch above) for superhero drama Marvel’s Helstrom, the upcoming original at Hulu.

All the 10 episodes of first season of the series will arrive exclusively at Hulu on October 16th.

The series follows Daimon (Tom Austen) and Ana Helstrom (Sydney Lemmon), the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer. The siblings have a complicated dynamic as they track down the terrorizing worst of humanity - each with their attitude and skills.

The series stars Kyle Warren, Xavier De Salaberry, Fiona Dourif, Tom Austen, Sydney Lemmon.

Creator Paul Zbyszewski was joined on the Comic-Con@Home panel alongside Austen, Lemmon, Elizabeth Marvel, Robert Wisdom, Ariana Guerra, June Carryl, and Alain Uy to discuss the show.

“It is based on the story The Son of Satan, so it’s a really bad dad story, ultimately,” Zbyszewski said in the virtual panel for Marvel’s Helstrom. “We ground it a little more in the real world, but I was interested in that kind of take.”

“It’s about the family that we’re born with and the family that we create. It’s a nature versus nurture story. It’s about the stuff that we’re born with genetically that we inherit and we carry with us because we have to. It’s about our environment that we’re raised with and the values that we’re imprinted with as we grow older, and that affects our ability to judge right from wrong, and our morality.”

Helstrom is created for television and executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski along with Karim Zreik and Jeph Loeb. Helstrom is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios, part of Disney Television Studios.
