Apple TV has revealed an extended trailer for its sci-fi thriller series, “Invasion.” The first three episodes of the series that is set in multiple countries will premiere on October 22 on Apple TV Plus.
The series comes from Simon Kinberg and David Weil and follows a global invasion by different Extraterrestrial species as the world struggles to find a way out of it.
The trailer begins with the president's announcement "My fellow citizens of the world What I have to say to you is not something I was ever prepared to say. As many of you know by now, we are suffering from inexplicable and seemingly unrelated incidents. That no one shares Ranging from power outages to the destruction of infrastructure and homes. We now believe these incidents are not unrelated, but in fact, connected. What is being visited upon our Earth is not of our Earth."
The official logline of the show says, "We are not alone. Extraterrestrial beings have made their way to Earth from across the universe. Civilization could collapse. And survival is up to you. Invasion follows a global cast as they try to navigate a terrifying new reality infested by lethal aliens."
‘Invasion’ has a global cast that includes including Sam Neil, Golshifteh Farahani, Firas Nassar, Shamier Anderson, Billy Barrett, and Shioli Kutsuna. The show is produced by Boat Rocker Studios. The writers and executive producers are Kinberg, Weil, and Andrew Baldwin; Jakob Verbruggen is an executive producer and director, and Katie O'Connell Marsh is an executive producer for Boat Rocker Studios.
The rest of the seven episodes of the 10-episode first season of Invasion will arrive every week on Friday.
