Netflix has revealed the first trailer and premiere date for the Spanish-language series ‘Cielo Grande.’ The musical-drama series also known as "Secrets of Summer" will release on February 16 on Netflix, worldwide.
The series follows a group of teenagers who works to save an old hotel called Cielo Grande, which specialized in water sports and is lost in the middle of the Argentine delta, where friends will relive childhood memories, discover family secrets, establish new friendships and different romances will be born.
The plot of ‘Cielo Grande’ revolves around a group of friends who attempt to save an amusement water park from bankruptcy. The series stars Pilar Pascual, Abril di Yorio, Víctor Varona, Thaís Rippel, Fernando Monzo, Guido Messina, Luan Brum, Byron Barbieri, Francisco Bass, Agustín Pardella, Juan Monzo, Mariel Percossi, Giulia Guerrini, and Débora Nishimoto.
In February 2021, Netflix commissioned the making of the youth musical series Cielo grande created by Jorge Edelstein, which would feature Mauro Scandolari as the director and Pablo Ferreiro as the producer. Likewise, it was announced that the series would be produced by the company "Non Stop."
The production of the series began in May 2021 in the city of Tigre in the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The filming concluded two months later in July of the same year.
