‘Perry Mason’ Season 2 Gets Trailer and Release Date on HBO

HBO has revealed the first teaser trailer and premiere date for the second season of ‘Perry Mason.’ The HBO Original drama series PERRY MASON's Season 2 will release on MONDAY, MARCH 6 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max, soon after the release. In India, Perry Mason Season 2 will premiere on March 7, 2023, on Hotstar.

In Season 2, months after the conclusion of the Dodson case, the scion of a wealthy oil family is brutally killed. When the District Attorney goes to the city's Hoovervilles to discover the most obvious suspects, Perry, Della, and Paul find themselves in the center of a case that will expose far-reaching conspiracies and push them to confront what it truly means to be guilty.

The second season cast of PERRY MASON includes Matthew Rhys, Juliet Rylance, Chris Chalk, Diarra Kilpatrick, Jee Young Han, Eric Lange, Justin Kirk, Hope Davis, Fabrizio Guido, Peter Mendoza, Mark O’Brien, Paul Raci, Katherine Waterston, Jen Tullock, Jon Chaffin, Onahoua Rodriguez, Sean Astin, Tommy Dewey, Shea Whigham, and Wallace Langham.

Based on the characters created by Erle Stanley Gardner, “Perry Mason” is produced by Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey’s Team Downey and HBO. The husband and wife duo executive producer the series alongside Team Downey’s Amanda Burrell, Matthew Rhys, Joe Horacek, Jack Amiel, Michael Begler, and Timothy Van Patten. Co-executive producer is Regina Heyman;

The series, set in 1932 Los Angeles, focuses on the origins of famed defense lawyer Perry Mason, who is based on characters from Erle Stanley Gardner's novels. Mason is a low-rent private detective who is tormented by his wartime experiences in France and enduring the consequences of a broken marriage. While the rest of the country is recovering from the Great Depression, L.A. is thriving – but a failed kidnapping exposes a split city as Mason investigates the crime.

Originally started as a miniseries, Perry Mason received strong rating numbers and favorable reviews from critics, which led to Season 2 renewal in 2020.
