Another day and another video game getting adpapted for screen. This time the action role-playing video game, “Indivisible” from 505 Games is ready for a series adaptation at Peacock.
Indivisible, the action role-playing video game, is set to be adapted for television with Inside Out’s Meg LeFauve and Rob The Mob’s Jonathan Fernandez.
Meg LeFauve and Jonathan Fernandez are writing and executive producing the series on the game, which was first released in October 2019. Meg LeFauve is known for writing the screenplay for Pixar’s Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur.
DJ2 Entertainment, which specializes in video game to television and whose credits include the Sonic the Hedgehog feature film, is producing in association with Legendary Television.
The series is currently in development at NBC Universal newly launched streaming service Peacock.
The game follows the story of Ajna, a good-natured tomboy and a fearless girl with a rebellious streak whose life is thrown into disarray when an attack by an army under the command of a warlord named Ravannavar burns her village to the ground and kills her father. During the chaos, Ajna awakens a mysterious ability to absorb certain individuals known as Incarnations into her being. She embarks on a journey across the world to confront Ravannanar while learning the truth behind her mysterious powers. During her quest, she is joined by a variety of unique heroes, gaining new abilities to traverse different environments and defeat enemies encountered along the way.
