Sony Pictures has revealed a new trailer for the animated movie 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.' The first part of the two-part sequel to 2018's hit movie "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" will release in theaters on June 2, 2023.

The trailer shows Miles and Gwen Stacy journeying through alternative universes and encountering dozens of alternate Spider-Men. A new look at Issa Rae's motorcycle-riding Spider-Woman, Jorma Taccone's high-flying adversary Vulture, an Indian Spider-Man, and Oscar Isaac's brutal Spider-Man 2099 are also included. The trailer also mentions a place called the Lobby where Spider-Man from all the universes are present in one place. Miles reveals his desire to join the Spider team but Spider-Man 2099 rejects his idea.

Miles Morales returns in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the latest chapter in the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is propelled across the Multiverse, where he meets a squad of Spider-People tasked with ensuring the Multiverse's survival. But when the heroes disagree on how to deal with a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and forced to redefine what it means to be a hero in order to save the ones he cares about the most.

The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson from a screenplay written by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.

The cast includes Shameik Moore as Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Oscar Isaac as Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker/Spider-Man, Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk, Issa Rae as Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, and Takuya Yamashiro, the "Japanese Spider-Man."
