Sony Pictures has revealed a new trailer for the animated movie 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.' The first part of the two-part sequel to 2018's hit movie "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" will release in theaters on June 2, 2023.

The trailer shows Miles and Gwen Stacy journeying through alternative universes and encountering dozens of alternate Spider-Men. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is propelled across the Multiverse, where he meets a squad of Spider-People tasked with ensuring the Multiverse's survival. But when the heroes disagree on how to deal with a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and forced to redefine what it means to be a hero in order to save the ones he cares about the most.

The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson from a screenplay written by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.
