‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Officially Wraps Up Production at Netflix

The fourth season will now move to the post-production phase in Atlanta and will complete it before its premiere date in 2022, which is yet to be announced

Stranger Things Season 4 has officially wrapped up production in Albuquerque, New Mexico this Sunday. The development comes a few days after some of the cast members announced that they have wrapped filming their roles. We have confirmed the production wrap with the NMFO.


‘Stranger Things’ will now move to Atlanta to complete the post-production on the fourth season. ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 will premiere in 2022 on Netflix.


Stranger Things was in the early stages of filming Season 4 when Netflix suspended film and TV production on March 13, 2020, due to COVID. It resumed production in October 2020 and again halted in December 2020. The filming resumed in February 2021 for the final time, which now has been completed.


Season 4 has taken more than a year to complete, leaving fans wondering if this season will contain more than the usual eight episodes. According to a rumor a few weeks back, someone revealed that a crew member has said that the series is expected to shoot the ninth episode, which might turn out to be true.


Netflix is supposed to reveal some exclusive details about ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 during its TUDUM event on September 25. It is likely to be another teaser trailer and some BTS footage from the fourth season. Netflix may surprise the fans by revealing the premiere date for season 4 or by announcing the fifth season of the series, the rumor of which is already doing rounds from the past few months.


Netflix has already revealed no. of teaser trailers and announced the new faces who have joined the cast in the fourth season. Season 4 new joiners are - Robert Englund as Victor Creel, Eduardo Franco as Argyle, Jamie Campbell Bower as Peter Ballard, Sherman Augustus as Lt. Colonel Sullivan, Mason Dye as Jason Carver, Tom Wlaschiha as Dmitri, Nikola Djuricko as Yuri, Joseph Quinn as Eddie Munson, Amybeth McNulty, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, and Grace Van Dien.


Stranger Things was created by Matt and Ross Duffer and is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment. The Duffer brothers act as writers, directors, executive producers, and showrunners for the show, with executive producer/director Shawn Levy, executive producer Dan Cohen of 21 Laps, and executive producer Iain Paterson.
