Netflix has revealed the first full-length trailer for volume 2 of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4, which releases on July 1. Volume 2 is almost four hours long, with Episode 408 at 1 hour, 25 minutes; and 409 is almost two and a half hours.
In the trailer, Brenner warns Eleven that her friends are unprepared for what is to come. But, Eleven knows that "my friends need me," even if Brenner doubts she's prepared. Will (Noah Schnapp) also warns Mike (Finn Wolfhard) that "he (Vecna) is not going to stop, not until he has taken everyone." But it's not all creepy warnings in the trailer; there's also a touching scene between Will and his elder brother, Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), as they hug in a restaurant's vacant kitchen.
Back in Hawkins, Max (Sadie Sink), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Erica (Priah Ferguson) enter the Creel House in daylight, while Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), and Robin (Maya Hawke) take the fight to the Upside Down. We also watch Lucas beat up jock-on-a-mission Jason (Mason Dye), who is unwelcome on the scene. Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Eddie (Joe Quinn) are still tag-teaming. In the Upside Down version of his trailer, Eddie grabs his guitar and says, "Let's do it." The trailer ends with Eleven using her powers in front of what appears to be a stained glass window with a red rose on it, drenched in red light.
Volume 1 of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 concluded on a cliffhanger, with the revelation that Vecna is actually Henry Creel, a Hawkins child from the 1950s who became the first test subject in the same government experiment as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). At the end of the season, Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) was still trapped in the Upside Down.
Netflix has already decided the fate of Stranger Things by renewing it for Season 5, which will be also its final season. Duffer Brothers announced revealing a special letter, which also hinted at several spin-offs.
Stranger Things was created by The Duffer Brothers and is produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment. The Duffer Brothers serve as executive producers on the series, alongside Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps Entertainment, and Iain Paterson.
