Christopher Nolan's TENET is finally arriving at Indian theaters to make the winter more interesting. As per our conversation with local theaters including local PVR employees, the exhibitioners are expecting the film to arrive in the first week of December, to be exact, it will arrive on December 4 in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.

The theater owners seem to be very excited as they are very hopeful that Tenet will bring people back to the big screen, and they will have something to cheer about in the time of a crisis. Indian cinemas and theaters were opened after the recent unlock guidelines issued by the Indian govt'. However, new films are yet to release in cinemas after the lockdown.

Local theaters in Bengaluru, where the film will be available in four languages (Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu), were looking forward to the preparation of billboards and hoardings in all the languages. We also asked them about another Warner Bros. film "Wonder Woman 1984," which is also arriving in the same month, and they seem not so optimistic about it. One of the theater employees told, "We generally receive notification about the big films, around 40-50 days before their arrival as we have to prepare hoardings and billboards, but till now we have not heard anything about it."

This may conclude that WB might be delaying the DC Superhero action film "Wonder Woman 1984" once again or they might be planning to release the film in India later than the rest of the world, but surely not very good news for Indian theatres.

20th Century Fox Studios film 'The New Mutants' is also hitting the Indian theaters on October 30, and it will be the first new film after the lockdown hitting the theaters that might attract few audiences. However, seeing the film performance worldwide, it will be smart to not expect much excitement for it.

Tenet has been a major hit in the UK and Ireland cinemas since its arrival, where it has made more than $60 million. In the US, it has made around $52 million, and so far, its total worldwide box-office collection is more than $340 million.

Directed and written by Christopher Nolan, Tenet tells the story of an unnamed CIA operative, known as The Protagonist, who is recruited by a mysterious organization called Tenet to participate in a global assignment that unfolds beyond real-time. The mission: prevent Andrei Sator, a renegade Russian oligarch with precognition abilities, from starting World War III. The Protagonist will soon master the art of "time inversion" as a way of countering the threat that is to come.
