With a duration of 106 minutes, Thanksgiving has given the audience a treat. It's packed with horrors and the mystery surrounding who the killer is makes you go nuts. The story is based in a small town where a horrific incident took many lives. On Thanksgiving, a store decided to open its store and heavily slashed the prices of the products. Well, not only the prices, but we witness throats getting slashed and people lying in a pool of blood.

When the store decided to open its gates, the owner's daughter entered beforehand with her friends. This baffled the masses standing outside waiting for the store to open its doors. They create a ruckus and take down the entryway which was a door with glasses. The scene depicting the scenario is shot marvelously. The audience will feel the chills and the screams are too vivid. People break in and create a ruckus. I didn't understand how and why they went so mad that they didn't even notice individuals suffering fatal injuries. What was so important about those waffle irons that it made them turn into zombies? That's the only thing in the entire plot that didn't sound convincing.

Plymouth, the town where it all happened was left in shock. Not much action was taken and nobody was charged for the horrific incident. Call it profitability or insensitive but the owners of the mart decided to open their gates again for the next Thanksgiving sale. What follows this traumatic incident is the birth of a serial killer who's ready to claim lives. After a year, people who were involved in the mart accident are targeted. The killer has a table decorated just for them for Thanksgiving but this time it'll be their dead bodies occupying the chairs. His killings are brutal and as the killer uses excellent methods to hide his identity, the audience will go crazy thinking about his identity and what he lost to go over to such an extent.

The actors have done a fantastic job and there's a scene in which Addison Rae’s character comes very close to getting killed. She's sitting and the expression on her face gives chills. The audience will get so much involved with the plot and feel like they're the detective here. Our killer in this movie has many tricks up its sleeves and he's ruthless when it comes to revenge. The turkey he cooked for this Thanksgiving has flavors of retaliation and they're sure to stick to your mind for a long period of time.

I liked how the writers and makers showed the merciless acts without any filters. Keeping this in mind, viewer discretion is strongly advised. Thanksgiving film is a great watch for this holiday and you'll never forget this title. The grip it still has over my mind is hard to explain. Eli Roth has proved herself yet again and I'll definitely be watching some of her other works. Jeff Rendell has kept the ingredients right to make Thanksgiving a delicious watch for the audience.

Final Score – [8/10]
