Finally some good news is on the way, series creator Eric Kripke will be joining The Boys cast reunion event this friday and the premiere date for season 2 along with the trailer is coming in the same event.

Today, Eric kirpke tweeted about the twitter reunion event which will be hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Patton Oswalt. The event will start June 26, 2pm ET and 11am PT. The name of the twitter event is "THE BOYS F**KIN' REUNITED".

Below is the tweet:

Earlier, Eric Kripke said that post-production of the season 2 is in its final days as the entire season continues to being worked on remotely. The Boys season 2 production was almost complete before the whole world went into a lockdown situation due to coronavirus. The remaining post-post-production was completed by the crew from working at home.

Fans are very much excited about the season 2 as its introducing few new charatcters and has created a lot of suspense after how the season one ended.

Stormfront played by Aya Cash will be the new member in the supes squad of The Boys in season 2 and from what we have heard, she is no less supe-crazy than others.

The Boys is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about the supergroup known as “The Seven.” The show retains most of the comics boundary-pushing violence and sexuality while exploring the dark side of superhero celebrity and fame.
