Netflix has revealed the first trailer and premiere date for ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ TV Series adaptation. Based on the second book in Michael Connelly’s book series of bestselling novels, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ will release on May 13 on Netflix, worldwide.

When his former legal partner is murdered, Mickey Haller is forced to take over the firm, which includes a high-profile murder trial. Mickey realizes there may be more at risk than he expected as he tackles the biggest case he's ever had to deal with from the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car.

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Magnificent Seven, Sicario: Day of the Soldado) is playing the leading role of Mickey Haller in the Netflix series as it honors the story’s Latinx origins.

Mickey Haller, an outspoken idealist, runs his law firm from the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, taking on cases big and small across Los Angeles. Manuel is the ideal Mickey Haller, as Haller combines the legal acumen of his father with the flair of his Mexican movie star mother. Manuel offers a strong dynamism and complexity to the part, which is consistent with the books and will allow the show to reflect the Latinx legacy and roots of this Los Angeles-based drama.

The series also stars Neve Campbell, Christopher Gorham, Jazz Raycole, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Michael Graziadei, Krista Warner, Lamont Thompson, Chris Browning, Reggie Lee, Anthony Elfonzia, Kim Hawthorne, Carlos Bernard, Melvin Diggs, Jeff Francisco, Amelia Brantley, Paul Rae, and Johann Urb.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season one consists of 10 one-hour episodes and is based on the second book in the series, The Brass Verdict. It is brought to life by a renowned team of producers that includes: David E. Kelley as Executive Producer / Writer, Ted Humphrey as Showrunner / Executive Producer / Writer, and Ross Fineman as Executive Producer, and A+E Studios.

This project was initially created at CBS with a series production commitment in 2020. The Good Wife alum Ted Humphrey is the showrunner, and David E. Kelley has written the script alongside being a producer.
