‘The Sound of Magic’ Gets New Trailer and Release Date on Netflix

Netflix has revealed a new trailer for its upcoming Korean-language Series, ‘The Sound of Magic.’ The fantasy music drama will release on May 6 on Netflix.

The new trailer gives a closer look into the narrative, visuals, and relationships between the three main characters. The Sound of Magic is an emotional music drama about Yoon Ah-yi, a normal high school student who has always wanted to be a magician. She aspired to grow faster in order to realize her ideal. Then she meets Lee Eul, an adult magician who wants to stop time and stay a child. Her life changes after she meets him, and she chooses to follow her dream more seriously.

In the six-episode fantasy music drama, Yoon Ah-Yi (Choi Sung-eun) has given up on her dreams in the face of reality, whereas Na Il-deung (Hwang In-youp) is under pressure to follow his. As the two meet an intriguing magician, Ri-eul (Ji Chang-wook), an unexpected yet beautiful story about what it means to be an adult unfolds.

The cast of the series includes Ji Chang-wook as Lee Eul, Nam Da-reum as young Lee Eul, Choi Sung-eun as Yoon Ah-yi, and Hwang In-youp as Na Il-deung.

Piquing interest in his character, Ji Chang-wook hinted: “Ri-eul is a mysterious character that will surely intrigue the audience! The line between vice and virtue is irrelevant when it comes to Ri-eul as he constructs and lives in his own world.”
