“Holidate” is about Sloane and Jackson, who out of peer pressure and the fear of the society of staying alone, decide to be each other’s holiday date aka holidate because they don’t want to be alone during holidays.
“Holidate” was released on Netflix on 28th October, starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey. The entire concept of the film is romantic comedy a.k.a romcom, so the people who are watching this film already know what is going to happen in the film.
The film is very colorful, and as we go from one festival to another, it is great to explore different shades of festivals, like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, New Year’s eve, and a lot more.
The entire story is nothing we haven’t seen before. It is quirky, funny, emotional, a bit weird, and overall entertaining. Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey have really cool chemistry and they slay their roles.
It's that kind of a film which you will come across randomly one night and decide to watch, but it was definitely a good rom-com and not a bad one.
A few jokes here and there were not funny as the creators think it is, and it's also not the best film you will watch. Many people won’t like this film at all, but it surely has its little audience for a one time watch.
