Jeffery Dean Morgan in Talks to Join ‘The Boys’ Season 3 Says Eric Kripke

With The Boys season 2 first 3 episodes airing on september 4, the rumors and talks are already started for the season 3 and since the show is renewed for the third season, it is obvious that showrunners will add some new energy to the cast for maintaining the freshness and excitement for the fans.

The first fresh news for season 3 has come in the form of Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays the most loved villain ‘Negan’ on the zombie apocalypse series “The Walking Dead”. News Website Collider in an interview has recently spoke with ‘The Boys’ showrunner Eric Kripke about the series and collider specifically talked about whether The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be joining the cast in the future.

In the reply Eric told he is in direct touch with JD and trying to figure out on how to get him on the show. While it is not official but still exciting to hear that JD might become a supe in The Boys Season 3.

“I absolutely have. There’s one role we’re already talking about. He has to, uh, we have to like coordinate. Because you know, he’s on The Walking Dead, so he has another home. But we already talked about one role, and there might be a potential other that we’re talking about. But we are, just this past week we were literally texting back and forth about trying to figure out how to get him on the show. I don’t think it’s a done deal yet, but the will is there, and we’re both talking about it.”

Jeffrey Dean Morgan publicly lobbied for a role on the show on Twitter last year, and Kripke responded positively, noting he could write him a role in Season 3.

The Boys season 2 will air on september 4. It will have 8 Episodes, The first 3 will air on september 4th and then remaining episodes will air weekly for next 5 weeks with finale on Oct 9th.
