Before the actors and the writers strike, the show was supposed to begin filming the third season in July this year, which was then postponed to November in the hope that strikes would end before that.

Finally, after the end of the actor's strike, things seem to get back to normal. MGM+ Sci-Fi series, FROM is gearing up to begin production as early as the second week of this month. Pre-production has already been in progress since October and will finish next Friday. Casting is also in progress and we may hear soon about it officially from MGM+.

FROM Season 3 will begin filming on December 11, 2023, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is expected to wrap up on May 14, 2024. The five months of production duration is the usual time that the show takes to complete filming its 10 episodes. Usually, they film during the Summer and that was the plan this time as well, but seems we might see some weather changes in the show as well. Considering the filming schedule, we won't see FROM returning in its usual first or second quarter of the year. So, we can expect the third season to release sometime in Summer or the Fall of 2024.

Created by John Griffin and produced by Jack Bender and Jeff Pinkner, the series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. Jack Bender will return in Season 3 to also direct a few episodes. Escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility in the aftermath of Season Two's epic cliffhanger, as the true nature of the town comes into focus, and the villagers go on offense against the numerous monsters surrounding them in the 10-episode third season which will premiere in 2024.

At the end of the second season, Tabitha makes it to the top of the lighthouse before a kid approaches and pushes her off. She is hurt and in a hospital bed when she finally wakes up. She inquires about her whereabouts with the doctor, who informs her that she is in St. Antony's Hospital after a couple of hikers found her in the woods three days ago. The credits roll as Tabitha glances out the Window and finds she is in a different place, leaving the audience to wait another year for an answer.

Fans are looking for many answers in Season 3 after the cliffhanger ending. First of all, is Tabitha actually in the hospital in a different town, or is she lying on the ground in the woods and dreaming after falling from the lighthouse? If Tabitha is indeed free, will she be able to find a way to get her family out of the mysterious town as well? Will Tabitha's family consider her dead or will they think she got out? Did Victor always know a way out and decide not to tell anyone or he was too scared to try, so he didn't bother about it? There are many such questions and I hope we will get most of them answered next year.

The series is led by Harold Perrineau and stars an ensemble cast that includes Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Elizabeth Moy, Avery Konrad, and Scott McCord. Joining the ensemble in Season Two were Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, A.J. Simmons, and Deborah Grover.

FROM is a co-production between EPIX Studios and MGM International Television Productions. Alongside Pinkner, Griffin, and Bender, serving as executive producers are Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg from Midnight Radio, Anthony and Joe Russo, and Mike Larocca from AGBO and Lindsay Dunn. Midnight Radio’s Adrienne Erickson serves as co-executive producer.
