‘She-Hulk’ First Teaser Trailer Sees the Return of Professor Hulk

Marvel Studios revealed the first teaser trailer for She-Hulk during Disney+ Day 2021 celebrations this Friday. Starring Tatiana Maslany as the titular character, the Disney Plus series will premiere in 2022.

The teaser gives us the first look at Maslany as Jennifer Walters and She-Hulk, it also shows the return of Mark Ruffalo's Professor Hulk and Bruse Banner.

She-Hulk follows Jennifer, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. She-Hulk will see a host of Marvel characters in the series, including Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, Jameela Jamil in the role of She-Hulk villain Titania, the Abomination portrayed by Tim Roth, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. 

The new action-comedy series will be released to Disney+ in 2022. The series is written by Jessica Gao and directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia. Gao and Coiro also serve as executive producers.

The character of She-Hulk was created by Stan Lee, who wrote the first issue, The Savage She-Hulk #1 which was published in 1980. Jennifer Walters is an attorney in New York City with a talent that matches those of the best defense attorneys in New York, although she often takes on cases that appeal more to her spirit of justice rather than her wallet. In the comics, she has also appeared alongside Matt Murdock (Daredevil), one of the best lawyers in New York in Marvel Universe.

She-Hulk is incredibly strong and tough, capable of jumping great heights and holding her own in physical combat against some of the most fearsome powerhouses on the planet. Notably, unlike Bruce Banner and others who have been transformed into Hulk-like creatures as a result of Gamma exposure, she retains her intelligence in She-Hulk form.

In the first comics, Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), is the small and somewhat shy daughter of Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters and Elaine Walters. Along with being part of the Avengers, She-Hulk has been part of Secret Invasion and also relates to Fantastic Four and Spider-Gwen.

Marvel is currently developing live-action Secret Invasion series with Nick Fury and Fantastic Four movie. So, She-Hulk's involvement cannot be ruled out from these future projects.
