Disney+ has revealed a new trailer for ‘Star Wars: Andor,’ which also confirms its new delayed release date on the streaming platform. The Original series from Lucasfilm, which takes place before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will now release on Disney+ on September 21, with the first three episodes.
Earlier, the 12-episode season one of ‘Star Wars: Andor’ was expected to premiere on August 31 with the first two episodes.
The Andor series will take a fresh look at the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor's journey to learn how he can make a difference. The series tells the story of the Empire's growing rebellion and how people and worlds became engaged. It's a time of peril, delusion, and intrigue, and Cassian is about to go on a journey that will turn him into a rebel hero.

Set five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Andor is a tense nail-biting spy thriller created by Tony Gilroy that explores tales filled with espionage and dangerous missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the clutches of a ruthless Empire. Diego Luna, reprising the role of rebel spy Cassian Andor, is joined by a new cast that includes Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma. Andy Serkis is also rumored to return as the villainous Supreme Leader Snoke.
Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Luna, and Michelle Rejwan are the executive producers. Tony Gilroy is the creator and showrunner.
