‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Gets First Trailer & March Premiere Date on Disney Plus

Disney and Marvel have released the first trailer for “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” at the Disney Investor Day 2020. The trailer shows the return of Anthony Mackie as the Falcon and the new Captain America with the hield. Sebastian Stan also reprises his role as Bucky Barnes aka, Winter Soldier, who is now a buddy and friend of the Falcon and working together.

During Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame,” Falcon received the honorary title from the original Captain America Steve Rogers though the new Captain America continues to operate with the Falcon wings and his new shield. 

The upcoming series was originally set to release in August of this year but was delayed due to the pandemic and few reshoots, which were wrapped in late October this year. A few months back, we came up with exclusive news of the Disney Plus plan and how they are going to execute it. The Streamer plan is to run at least one new episode of a mainstream show every week.

As per the plan and Marvel boss Kevin Feige, “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” will probably premiere on March 19, 2021. However, the trailer doesn't show any specific date, it only mentions March 2021.

The series will also feature Daniel Brühl, Georges St-Pierre, and Emily VanCamp in returning roles as Helmut Zemo, Georges Batroc, and Sharon Carter, respectively. It will feature six episodes directed by Kari Skogland for Disney Plus.

Other Marvel/Disney+ original series, WandaVision, will be the first to make it the streamer with a January 15 launch for the Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany-led show.
