Amazon has revealed the first teaser trailer and set the premiere date for the fantasy series “The Wheel of Time.” The much-awaited series will land on Amazon Prime Video on November 19.

Season One's first three episodes will debut on Friday, November 19, with new episodes available every Friday until the season finale on December 24.

Based on Robert Jordan’s series of best-selling novels. The series has already been renewed for a second season, which is currently filming in Prague, Czech Republic.

With over 90 million books published, The Wheel of Time is one of the most popular and lasting fantasy novels of all time. The story follows Moiraine, a member of the highly powerful all-female organization known as the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small village of Two Rivers in a large, epic world where magic exists and only specific women are allowed to use it. There, she embarks on a perilous voyage across the globe with five young men and women, one of them is foretold to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

The cast of the series includes Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Josha Stradowski, Madeleine Madden, Marcus Rutherford, Zoë Robins, and Barney Harris.

The Wheel of Time, based on Robert Jordan's best-selling fantasy novels, was adapted for television by executive producer/showrunner Rafe Judkins (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hemlock Grove). Red Eagle Entertainment's Larry Mondragon and Rick Selvage (Winter Dragon), Radar Pictures' Ted Field and Mike Weber (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Winter Dragon), Darren Lemke (Shazam!, Goosebumps, Winter Dragon), Marigo Kehoe, and Uta Briesewitz will also serve as executive producers, with Briesewitz directing the first two episodes.

Rosamund Pike will serve as Producer and Harriet McDougal and Brandon Sanderson as consulting producers. The Wheel of Time is co-produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television.
