Netflix has revealed an extended teaser trailer for ‘The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf’ anime movie. The anime movie will be released on Netflix on August 23.
The trailer (watch above) reveals what is involved in making a Witcher. A kid in the trailer says, "They're going to poison us. They'll kill us, then bring us back, but we won't be normal." The Kid Vesemir (Witcher) replies, "I get scared too. Then I think, "Soon, I'll be stronger than most anyone, wanting for nothing." "I'll never be scared again." The trailer further proceeds as Vesemir in Bathtub says, "See, I'm a monster hunter, Fil. Favors and friends don't pay bills." "These pleasures do not pay for themselves, Filavandrel."
Netflix also revealed a brand new poster art for the spin-off anime movie.

The cast for the anime movie includes Theo James as Vesemir, Lara Pulver as Tetra, Mary McDonnell as Lady Zerbst, and Graham McTavish as Deglan. The story will follow Vesemir, a Witcher who slays monsters for coin and glory, but when a new menace rises, he must face the demons of his past.
‘The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf’ is a collaboration between The Witcher series creators Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Beau DeMayo, as well as the Korean animation studio Studio Mir, whose credits include Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender.
Netflix has also confirmed “The Witcher: Blood Origin,” a limited series based in “The Witcher” universe in an Elven realm 1200 years before the world of The Witcher.
