MCU's ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ has officially wrapped up filming (on May 28). The film's leading star Chris Hemsworth confirmed the wrap of production today by posting an image from the set on Instagram.

Hemsworth wrote, "That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder, it’s also national don’t flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate. The film is gonna be batshit crazy off the wall funny and might also pull a heartstring or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready, and see ya in cinemas!!"

"Sometimes two people come together to inspire the world and change the cinematic landscape forever. And then there's me and @chrishemsworth who are too cool to care about anything except making movies that bring people absolute joy. Ok I don't look cool I know that," said director Taika Waititi. "This film is the craziest thing I've ever done and I'm honored to bust my ass and have a nervous breakdown so you can all see it in May 2022."

Waititi co-wrote the script for Thor: Love and Thunder with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great), which will follow his hit 2017 sequel Thor: Ragnarok. Natalie Portman is set to return to the franchise as Jane, this time wielding Mjolnir as the female Thor, in a storyline based on Jason Aaron’s run on “The Mighty Thor.” Tessa Thompson is set to reprise her role as Valkyrie, while Christian Bale (The Dark Knight trilogy) joins the franchise as Gorr the God Butcher, the main antagonist in the film. Taika Waititi also reprises his on-screen role as Korg.

The film also stars Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Matt Damon. Russell Crowe will appear in the role of Zeus, Melissa McCarthy as Actor Hela, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. The film is set for a May 6th, 2022 release.

Recently Ms. Marvel also wrapped up filming on its first season. In the upcoming days, we will see ‘The Marvels’ in production as early as next week, Black Panther 2 in July, and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 later this year.
