Tom Holland is all set to lead his first small screen project with ‘The Crowded Room,’ which will be his second TV series after recurring in BBC Series, Wolf Hall. Apple TV+ has already revealed the first trailer (watch above) and a premiere date for the series.
The highly anticipated 10-episode series, ‘The Crowded Room’ will release on Friday, June 9, 2023, on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through July 28, 2023.
The gripping, upcoming limited series starring and executive produced by Tom Holland, is created by Academy Award-winning writer and executive producer Akiva Goldsman. Led by Holland, the series also stars Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, and Lior Raz along with guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski, and Zachary Golinger.
"The Crowded Room" follows Danny Sullivan (Holland), a guy arrested after being involved in a shooting in New York City in 1979. Danny's life story develops in a riveting thriller recounted through a series of interviews with interested interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), exposing pieces of the enigmatic history that created him, as well as the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation.
“The Crowded Room” is a co-production between Apple Studios and New Regency. Akiva Goldsman serves as executive producer through his Weed Road Productions banner. The series is also executive produced by Holland; Alexandra Milchan for EMJAG Productions; and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer. Kornél Mundruczó directed several episodes, including the pilot, and executive produces. Suzanne Heathcote also serves as executive producer.
