Netflix has officially renewed its crime-drama series ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ for a second season. Based on the second book in Michael Connelly’s book series of bestselling novels, the first season of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ was released on May 13 on Netflix, worldwide.
‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 2 has added Dailyn Rodriguez as co-showrunner alongside Ted Humphrey, who was the only showrunner in the first season. Based on the book “The Brass Verdict,” the first season consisted of 10 episodes, Season 2 will also have 10 episodes and will be based on the book “The Fifth Witness.”
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will reprise the role of Mickey Haller in Season 2, with Neve Campbell (Maggie McPherson), Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), and Angus Sampson (Cisco) all returning as well along with other Season 1 cast members.
In Season 1, When his former legal partner is murdered, Mickey Haller is forced to take over the firm, which includes a high-profile murder trial. Mickey realizes there may be more at risk than he expected as he tackles the biggest case he's ever had to deal with from the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car.
The first season was brought to life by a renowned team of producers that includes: David E. Kelley as Executive Producer / Writer, Ted Humphrey as Showrunner / Executive Producer / Writer, Ross Fineman as Executive Producer, and A+E Studios. This project was initially created at CBS with a series production commitment in 2020.
